Rat Pack Revival: Missy and Currie
This is probably one of the coolest weddings I’ve ever photographed. Missy and Currie were married at a private home in Ashland City on September 20, 2008. The theme was so stylish. They had a classy smoking room (for cigars), black, white, and red color scheme, and a soundtrack heavy on Sinatra. These two are obviously so in love with one another; it was a pleasure to be their photographer.

Kai, 8 Months
My good friend Jenyfer asked me to photograph her 8 month old son, Kai. What a cutie!

Dreams Come True: Brook and Chris
Brook and Chris were married on Saturday September 6th at Oaklands Mansion in Murfreesboro, TN. This wedding was such a pleasure to photograph. The families and friends of the couple were so nice and accommodating, and the wedding party was a blast! There were a lot of great places for portraits at Oakland, so there is no shortage of gorgeous pictures. After all the guests had departed, Brook and Chris joined me and my assistant Bernie for some sunset portraits, and those turned out to be my favorites. Congratulations Brook and Chris!

Lovely Dancer
Emeline is a professional bellydancer living in New York City. While visiting Nashville, she hired me to take some professional pictures that she could use in promotional materials. We shot at Centennial Park, which was the perfect setting, on a stormy day. Although we had to spend some time waiting inside my car for the rain to end, it was well worth it.

Thai Tradition: Connie and Nathan
When Connie asked me to photograph her traditional Thai Buddhist engagement ceremony with her fiance Nathan, I jumped at the chance. Held at Murfreesboro’s Wat Lao Buddharam Buddhist Temple, the ceremony was very beautiful and spiritual. The guests and I were treated to unique rituals performed by seven monks, including fire, water, and handfasting. After formal photographs were finished, the guests joined Connie, Nathan, and their families at a local Thai restaurant, where a xylophonist was playing music especially for the guests.
