Peek & Boo!

Kadee’s Senior Pictures
After photographing Missy and Currie’s wedding last fall, they mentioned that Missy’s daughter Kadee would need senior portraits this year. When they contacted me in August to schedule Kadee’s session, I was pleased to be able to photograph her in my new studio. Here’s what they had to say about the experience:
“We would like to thank Stephanie for the wonderful pictures. We wanted someone with a different outlook, not just your everyday photographer. That’s exactly what we got! I can’t imagine it any other way; she captures the best in people. From that, my daughter Kadee wanted to have her senior pictures done by La Photographie. This was Stephanie’s first time for “senior” pictures. No one else at her school will have shots like hers, she is beautiful! We will be back for more!”

Jonas
This is the second time I’ve had the pleasure of photographing little Jonas. I had great conversation with his family while exploring Centennial Park and photographing the best moments.

Nostalgic Bridal Session
I had to wait until after Meredith’s wedding before I could post these pictures, and since she was married last weekend, the post is here! This bridal session was so special to me because Meredith’s session was at Riverwood Mansion, which is where I was married almost 4 years ago. The last time I was at Riverwood, I was enjoying my own wedding, so doing these bridal portraits made me very nostalgic. Meredith looked incredible, especially after having her hair and makeup done by Renee at R Squared Salon. Special thanks to my awesome intern Julia for helping on this shoot.

Fearless Bridal
This blog post has been a long time in the making. My friend Aimee was married several years ago, and her wedding dress has just been stuffed in a closet, waiting to be brought out for a special occasion. Well, Aimee decided to bring that dress out and trash it! Trash the Dress, or TTD, has become very popular among modern women as a way to say farewell to the dress you only wear once. Aimee and I started at an abandoned house in East Nashville, and worked our way to the Ryman downtown, and then finally a swimming pool where she really ruined it good. Makeup by Eryk Datura.
