I am so pleased with the turnout and results from my first open house, Peek & Boo. La Photographie offered free children’s portraits to kids in costume last Friday, October 30, and here are some of the best shots. Thank you to everyone who brought their little ones, and a special thank you to Leela and Julia for helping put it all together. Stay tuned for another post later this week!

I am so excited to announce my first showcase. My 1920’s project, based on photographs of the Ziegfeld Follies, will premiere at Venus and Mars: The Showroom on Friday May 8, 2009. The project is called Midnight Frolic and it features dancers from Music City Burlesque. The ladies will be making an appearance at the event, which starts at 7pm. See you there!

I am so pleased that Kat at Rock N Roll Bride decided to feature my boudoir photography on her blog. Rock ‘n Roll Bride is an awesome resource for alternative weddings. I will definitely be sending all of my alternative Nashville wedding couples her way for inspiration!

How much fun was this party??? We had a blast on February 7th at R Squared Salon on Music Row. Owners Brannon and Renae hosted a fantastic trunk show featuring designer Nicole Rae Styer from Philadelphia. La Photographie provided the Photo Booth Fun, and everyone enjoyed hamming it up for my camera. With free makeup styling and complimentary champagne, the attendees were ready for their close ups. I met a lot of great people in the photo booth. If you are one of the people who talked to me about doing a photoshoot, give me a call and we’ll set something up!

Tomorrow I am joining R Squared Salon for a trunk show featuring Nicole Rae Styer, a designer from Philadelphia. I will be setting up a fun photobooth for you to come and have your pretty picture made for free. Come on down to R Squared tomorrow and ham it up with us!
