Truvy and I have worked together several times, most notably on her awesome maternity photographs. I am so blessed to be her personal photographer! Not only do I get to capture her beauty, but I also get to photograph her baby Leela, her fiance John, and their upcoming wedding in October. Johnna, Hayley, and Alex have all been friends since grade school and decided to do a group Pinned Up session together as a fun way to celebrate their friendship! I may be biased, but could there be any more perfect way to commemorate friendship than coming to La Photographie Studios for a day of pampering and fun photoshoots? Alex, the blonde, definitely wanted some Vargas-style pin ups, while Johnna wanted to incorporate her 4-month-old baby Basil into some cheeky pictures. Hayley mixed decades with a 70s style bathing suit in 40s style portraits, and then did some fun shots at the vanity set. With Shana of No Limits Salon on hair and Eryk Datura on makeup, we created some fantastic images and a wonderful experience for the three ladies. Want to book your own group Pinned Up? Pinned Up: Jen | Nashville Bridal Pin Up Photography
Jen is getting married this weekend, but before she puts on the wedding dress to walk down the aisle, she decided to put it on for some glamorous portraits done by the Pinned Up! team. We started at No Limits Salon to get her hair styled by Shana, then makeup by Eryk Datura. We then went to La Photographie Studios in East Nashville to take some lovely studio portraits in her bridal wear, then some bedroom-style boudoir, and burlesque-influenced images. Jen is absolutely gorgeous and I’m sure her hubby-to-be will be very pleased with the photographs we took that day.
Pinned Up! Angel
Angel was married a couple of weeks ago, and before her wedding she decided to do some classy boudoir photographs for her new husband as a gift. Not only did Angel have some great styling ideas (Bridget Bardot meets Kim Kardashian), but she also had access to Two Rivers Mansion for her photoshoot. She came to No Limits Salon for hair styling by Shana, and makeup by Eryk Datura. Then we went to the mansion to take what turned out to be some fabulous photographs. I did the wardrobe styling with some pieces from Venus and Mars, my personal collection, and Angel’s favorite dresses. Not only was Angel a fantastic subject, but she’s become a friend as well, which I am pleased to say happens more and more frequently as I work with people with whom I have a lot in common. Enjoy!

Katie participated in a recent Pinned Up! and her photographs are stunning! Eryk Datura did her flawless makeup, and Shana Taylor of No Limits Salon did her hair. Katie was a natural model, so easy to photograph. I look forward to working with her again soon!
