Katie came to La Photographie Studios to have some boudoir photographs taken as a gift for her husband, who was deployed in Afghanistan. Spring is such a great time for women to take glamour photographs, and Mallory is no exception! This gorgeous gal is moving to NYC for the summer to intern at Redbook. Her impending adventure reminds me of my own foray to NYC in 2002 when I interned for Paper Magazine. I am so excited for Mallory and the exciting work and experience she has ahead of her. To mark this transition, she decided to have some photographs taken. Shana Michelle Taylor did her hair and Crystal Doughtie did her makeup. We drew inspiration from Ellen Von Unwerth’s glamourous Guess-ad photographs, and brought in some retro touches to soften the edges. Enjoy!

I’ve photographed my friend Crystal countless times. In fact, she was one of the first girls who volunteered to pose for me when I was getting started in photography. I’ve also done her maternity photographs and photographs of her child and family. I was so excited when she scheduled a session as a surprise birthday gift for her significant other. Crystal is a makeup artist with whom I work quite frequently, so she did her own makeup. Her hair style is by Laura Doughtie. Crystal started with a 1920s look and worked her way into a vixen-style boudoir, then a softer, more intimate style with an edge. Now that her significant other’s birthday has passed, I can share these stunning shots with you. Enjoy!

Some of you may already know Rambo Sambo as one of the tough-as-nails Nashville Rollergirls. Rambo also has a sexy side, as evidenced in these boudoir photographs! With retro makeup by Eryk Datura and a glam hairstyle by Shana Taylor, Rambo really pulls off the glamorous Hollywood look, as well as an edgier look with red heels and black lingerie. Enjoy!

Truvy and I have worked together several times, most notably on her awesome maternity photographs. I am so blessed to be her personal photographer! Not only do I get to capture her beauty, but I also get to photograph her baby Leela, her fiance John, and their upcoming wedding in October. Pinned Up: Jen | Nashville Bridal Pin Up Photography
Jen is getting married this weekend, but before she puts on the wedding dress to walk down the aisle, she decided to put it on for some glamorous portraits done by the Pinned Up! team. We started at No Limits Salon to get her hair styled by Shana, then makeup by Eryk Datura. We then went to La Photographie Studios in East Nashville to take some lovely studio portraits in her bridal wear, then some bedroom-style boudoir, and burlesque-influenced images. Jen is absolutely gorgeous and I’m sure her hubby-to-be will be very pleased with the photographs we took that day.
Pinned Up: Megan | Nashville Boudoir Photography
I am so glad that the black and white bedroom in the studio was ready in time for Megan’s boudoir session! Megan wanted to do some between-the-sheets-style photographs, a la Marilyn Monroe. We also laced her into a vintage corset from Venus and Mars: The Showroom, which made it a bit difficult to breathe, but the results were worth it! Megan photographs beautifully, and the hair styling by Shana of No Limits Salon and makeup by Eryk Datura added the final touches of glamour. I am really proud of these photographs and I know Megan is pleased too.
Porcelain Glam | Nashville Boudoir Photography
When Lea came to La Photographie Studios for her boudoir consultation, I thought I recognized her. Sure enough, she is the childhood friend of my best friend Beth. Although Lea knew Beth had a photographer friend, she didn’t know it was me. Lea found me through Google.com, and proceeded to book a session as an anniversary gift for her husband. After hair at No Limits Salon and makeup by Eryk Datura, Lea looked just like a porcelain doll, albeit a sexy porcelain doll!
Pinned Up! Angel
Angel was married a couple of weeks ago, and before her wedding she decided to do some classy boudoir photographs for her new husband as a gift. Not only did Angel have some great styling ideas (Bridget Bardot meets Kim Kardashian), but she also had access to Two Rivers Mansion for her photoshoot. She came to No Limits Salon for hair styling by Shana, and makeup by Eryk Datura. Then we went to the mansion to take what turned out to be some fabulous photographs. I did the wardrobe styling with some pieces from Venus and Mars, my personal collection, and Angel’s favorite dresses. Not only was Angel a fantastic subject, but she’s become a friend as well, which I am pleased to say happens more and more frequently as I work with people with whom I have a lot in common. Enjoy!
