Tabitha and I were introduced by a mutual friend a few months ago, when she booked me for her September wedding. As part of her wedding package, she chose to have some boudoir photographs taken as an early wedding gift to her fiance. Tabitha brought in some very sexy clothes, which we photographed in the studio, with hair by Shana Taylor and makeup by Alicia Schenk. We then went to the nearby home of Tabitha’s cousin to get some kitchen shots, since Tabitha brought some yummy cupcakes as props. We also got some lovely pin up style photographs next to the pool. I can’t wait to photograph Tabitha’s wedding in a few months!

Pinned Up: Cindy | Nashville Fashion Photography
Words can’t truly describe how incredible this photo session was. With help from the styling team of Shana at No Limits Salon, Eryk Datura, and Parlour Vintage Clothing, La Photographie was able to create some custom fashion images for our client Cindy. Cindy recently graduated from Vanderbilt University with her Master’s Degree, and before she moved back to California she wanted to commemorate her time in Nashville with a fun and flirty photo shoot. We did the entire session downtown, near the Capitol building. I love the way these pictures turned out!
Pinned Up: Megan | Nashville Boudoir Photography
I am so glad that the black and white bedroom in the studio was ready in time for Megan’s boudoir session! Megan wanted to do some between-the-sheets-style photographs, a la Marilyn Monroe. We also laced her into a vintage corset from Venus and Mars: The Showroom, which made it a bit difficult to breathe, but the results were worth it! Megan photographs beautifully, and the hair styling by Shana of No Limits Salon and makeup by Eryk Datura added the final touches of glamour. I am really proud of these photographs and I know Megan is pleased too.
Porcelain Glam | Nashville Boudoir Photography
When Lea came to La Photographie Studios for her boudoir consultation, I thought I recognized her. Sure enough, she is the childhood friend of my best friend Beth. Although Lea knew Beth had a photographer friend, she didn’t know it was me. Lea found me through Google.com, and proceeded to book a session as an anniversary gift for her husband. After hair at No Limits Salon and makeup by Eryk Datura, Lea looked just like a porcelain doll, albeit a sexy porcelain doll!
Hurrell-Inspired: Talvin
A couple of months ago, my friend Talvin mentioned that he was interested in doing some George Hurrell-inspired portraits. As a fan of Hurrell’s work, I became excited when we talked about his ideas. As the first official client in my new studio near downtown Nashville, Talvin was an amazing subject. I think we achieved his vision. The first picture is of his inspiration board.
Pinned Up! Angel
Angel was married a couple of weeks ago, and before her wedding she decided to do some classy boudoir photographs for her new husband as a gift. Not only did Angel have some great styling ideas (Bridget Bardot meets Kim Kardashian), but she also had access to Two Rivers Mansion for her photoshoot. She came to No Limits Salon for hair styling by Shana, and makeup by Eryk Datura. Then we went to the mansion to take what turned out to be some fabulous photographs. I did the wardrobe styling with some pieces from Venus and Mars, my personal collection, and Angel’s favorite dresses. Not only was Angel a fantastic subject, but she’s become a friend as well, which I am pleased to say happens more and more frequently as I work with people with whom I have a lot in common. Enjoy!

When I first met Michelle, I knew our portrait session would be a success. What started as a 20 minute meeting turned into almost 2 hours! I was pleased to photograph her in her beautiful home in Nolensville, TN. Here are some of the highlights from this modern pinup photo session.
